Mixed Media Photo Transfer

For this process, you need a photocopy of a picture(on printer paper), canvas, mixed media materials, a brush, and mod podge. To create the background, use the mod podge on a brush to glue down the mixed media materials like newspaper. Once everything is as desired, make a coat of mod podge over the entire canvas. Once it has dried, you can transfer the image onto the canvas. Cover the entire sheet (on the side with the image) with mod podge and glue the picture one to canvas face down. Once it has dried completely (over night), spray the canvas with water and, using a circular rubbing motion, rub off the paper, leaving the ink.

For this process, I have a few ideas of what I could do. I had an idea to use all newspaper text for a background and print black and purple flowers onto it.
