My Plan

For my trial project, I plan to print a cyanotype on a piece of fabric. Once I get the chemicals (they're in the mail), I'll brush the chemical onto the piece of white cotton fabric while in the dark because the chemicals are light sensitive. When it dries, I'll put it in a light-proof bag or folder and bring it into school so I can demonstrate. Then I'll place my negative on top of the fabric and glass on top of that and bring it outside to expose it to light. After about 5 or 10 minutes (depending on the sun intensity), I'll bring it inside and rinse the fabric. Once it dries, I plan to stretch the fabric over a canvas stretcher and  pain into the design or add some other elements.
